2026 White Rock Badminton Tournament Successfully Ended On June 22nd

The 2026 White Rock Badminton Tournament brought together 271 players from across North America for three exciting days of competition, sportsmanship, and community connection. The event received tremendous support and positive feedback for its organization, atmosphere, and commitment to giving back.
Featuring 271 players competing in 29 events across seven age categories, with over 500 matches played over three days, the 2026 White Rock Badminton Tournament, hosted by the South Surrey Badminton Society at Grandview Heights Secondary School, continued to showcase the passion and dedication of the badminton community. From first-time tournament participants to experienced competitors, players of all levels came together to challenge themselves, build connections, and celebrate the sport they love.
The success of the tournament was made possible through the incredible efforts of our volunteers, sponsors, and organizing committee. Their hard work and dedication ensured a smooth and enjoyable experience for all participants. Throughout the weekend, players and families highlighted the tournament’s well-organized format, friendly environment, and strong sense of community.
More importantly, the tournament continued its mission of making a positive impact beyond the badminton courts. Through the generous support of players, sponsors, and community members, the South Surrey Badminton Society proudly donated $30,888.00 to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation’s Every Second Counts – ICU & Cardiac Monitoring Campaign. The campaign supports the enhancement of critical care services by helping provide advanced ICU and cardiac monitoring equipment, improving healthcare resources for patients and families in our community.
