2025 White Rock Badminton Tournament Successfully Ended On June 23th

This year’s tournament brought together 309 players from across North America and was highly praised for its smooth organization and vibrant community atmosphere.
With 309 players participating in 29 events across eight age groups and 500 matches held over three days, the 2025 White Rock Badminton Tournament, hosted by the South Surrey Badminton Society at Grandview Heights Secondary School, became our largest and most successful event to date. Players from all across North America—ranging from beginners to national champions—came together to compete, connect, and celebrate the spirit of community through sport. The enthusiasm was overwhelming, with registration filling up far beyond our expectations.
Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, sponsors, and organizing team, the tournament ran smoothly and on time throughout the weekend. Many participants praised the tournament’s professional organization, friendly atmosphere, and community focus, making it one of the most highly regarded badminton events in the region.
Beyond the courts, this tournament continued its meaningful purpose: giving back to the community. The proceeds of $35,180.00 were proudly donated to the Peace Arch Hospital Foundation’s Production Kitchen Project, supporting the initiative designed to modernize their outdated kitchen facilities, elevate food services, and enhance the dining experience for patients, visitors, and staff alike. Each rally, match, and moment on court contributed to something greater—the health and well-being of our community.
